20 times champion jockey Sir A P McCoy has been announced as an ambassador of the newly-sponsored Stobart Jump Jockeys' Championship for the 2015/16 season.

McCoy commented 'After the great ride this sport has given me over the past 20 years, I'm delighted to have been asked to be an ambassador for the season. I have been so lucky to share the weighing room with some fantastic personalities over the years and I'm really looking forward to helping promote the jump jockeys and highlighting what incredible athletes they are'.
